| 2 March 2026 | National Offer Day (welcome to Heanor Gate Spencer Academy).
Welcome email sent to parents/carers to forms to complete. |
| April 2026 | The transition team will be in contact with primary schools to discuss the students.
Parents/carers will receive information about the transition days in July. |
| May 2026 | Paperwork emailed to parents/carers:
The transition team will visit primary schools, meeting Year 6 students and staff. |
| June 2026 | The transition team continue to visit primary schools, meeting Year 6 students and staff.
Tutor groups are allocated. 26 June – Morley’s uniform ordering deadline if being delivered to school |
| July 2026 | 1 July 2025 – Meet the Tutor Parents’ Evening
1-3 July 2025 – Transition Days (an opportunity for students to fully immerse themselves into life at Heanor Gate Spencer Academy). |
| August 2026 | Enjoy your summer holiday and get uniform and equipment ready to start Heanor Gate Spencer Academy (see links below). |
| September 2026 | 4 September – term begins for all Year 7 students. |
